At Blue Ribbon Pet Products, Inc., we are committed to providing safe, quality products for you and your pets to enjoy. Recent events in many industries have placed great focus on the use of paints and coatings, with particular emphasis on avoiding lead. Of course, we share those concerns and focus.

In order to ensure the safety of your pet and your peace of mind, Blue Ribbon Pet Products, Inc. maintains strict quality control with our product sourcing, manufacturing and distribution. We test our products at certified, independent testing laboratories to assure the strictest conformity with the highest safety standards.

But because we are so serious about this commitment, we go even further. We have had our test results reviewed by an independent, world-renowned veterinarian toxicology expert. Our expert evaluates the independent laboratory results and rates the safety of our products. We are pleased that our expert has found our products to be safe and non-toxic. All of our ornaments are made & painted with inert materials that are 100% safe for all aquatic & reptilian environments.

(Please note, our decor and dog toys are not recommended for uses other than what they are intended for & although our products are safe, your pets are your responsibility. It is up to you that proper care & maintenance should be practiced at all times. DO NOT allow ingestion to occur.)

Our Response to COVID-19

Dear Valued Customer,

During this time of unprecedented uncertainty, all of us here at Blue Ribbon Pet Products, Inc. are concerned about the safety and well-being of our families, colleagues, customers, partners, and the many friends who make up the Blue Ribbon family.

Our hearts are with those who have been affected personally by the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) as well as the many communities around the world that are facing extreme measures in the attempt to slow its spread.

For over 40 years, we have been honored by the trust you place in us to run your critical business processes. In today’s challenging environment, we want to provide you more information as to how we are securing our business and, in turn, yours.

Company Assurance for Customers

Blue Ribbon Pet Products, Inc. work team have developed Business Continuity Plans to respond to disruptive incidents, such as (COVID-19), while safeguarding the health of our employees and minimizing the impact on the delivery of services to you.

We have put the following measures in place:

  • Working Remotely: For the majority of our office staff, work can be conducted through remote connections, which enables teams to work off-site for most tasks. We are working separately and remotely where possible to mitigate the risk of an entire team becoming infected. Employees who must be on-site are applying social distancing and hygiene protocols based on guidance from health authorities and our Global Pandemic Task Force.
  • Safety On-Site: Where on-site work is required (for example, loading & unloading of trucks), staff who are on-site to accomplish specific tasks are spending only the minimum time required in locations. Additionally, teams have implemented rotating schedules to reduce the number of people in a single location and to separate individuals in common teams as much as possible. We have also sourced gloves and masks for the protection of on-site personnel.
  • Our Suppliers: Blue Ribbon Pet Products, Inc. operations are supported by a number of suppliers and we are in contact with all of them continually to ensure they apply comparable mitigation practices with their teams, while still maintaining service levels. For those who supply operational resources, we are focusing on scheduling and in-office practices to reduce the impact of any potential event. Finally, we are maintaining updates and feedback from suppliers to ensure we can quickly locate and confirm documented information outlining the COVID-19 protocols and practices they are supporting.

In closing, we are navigating the same uncharted waters as all of you and the concerns for our safety and yours are our #1 priority. We wish you all the very best, and thank you for your continued support and business. But most of all we thank you for over 40 years of loyalty and look forward to a safe, healthy & happy future for everyone.

About California Proposition 65

Proposition 65, officially the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires warnings be provided to California consumers when they might be exposed to chemicals identified by California as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity. The warnings are intended to help california consumers make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals from the products they use. The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program and publishes the listed chemicals, which includes more that 850 chemicals. In August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, effective on August 30, 2018, which change the information required in Proposition 65 warnings.

We are providing the following warning for products linked to this page:
